In this talk, Farmer Aces is going to discuss the Raspberry Pi platform and how to grow your Raspberry Pi farm, starting from seed (Noobs), to sprout (Raspbian) to a garden variety of IoT devices and solutions. To follow along during the talk and to build some of the IoT solutions afterward, it is recommended to purchase a Raspberry Pi and the required accessories. Feed Supplies - The minimum required equipment needed to start your Raspberry Pi garden can be found at: https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/
Vilros seems to have very good prices on Pi parts and kits. The seed starter kit for $80 will give you an idea of the parts needed to get started.
It is also recommend to get a USB keyboard, USB mouse and monitor with HDMI port for initial setup until you can setup Wi-Fi, load SSH and VNC Viewer for remote access.
